Enable Texting in WebsiteAlive

As a WebsiteAlive Administrator, go to Websites, Code & Customize, and modify your Embedded Icon. There’s a new option to “Launch App”, choose “SMS/Text Messaging”. For the “SMS Phone Number”, enter your Alive5 SMS Phone Number from Step 1.


 

How Does It Work?

Once you complete the steps above, visitors to your Desktop web site will still access the AliveChat live chat window:

But on mobile, the Visitor may see a different Icon, and when clicked, opens up their built-in SMS application on their phone, with the pre-set message you configured ready to send to Alive5.

 

 

What Will My Agents See?

Agents will log into Alive5’s Console, which has AliveChat integrated. Inside Alive5, just log in with your Operator credentials.


What Are The Costs?

As a WebsiteAlive customer, you can try Alive5 free of charge via 500 free text messages. Go to https://app.alive5.com/signup and sign up with the invite code “alivechat”. This will immediately set you up with 500 free text messages.
