WebsiteAlive is proud to announce that it will sponsor Give a Ruff, an adoption day and fundraiser benefitting the Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Ward Project. The event is scheduled for July 18, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at NonameFIT Studios, 2010 Commerce St. Suite A, Houston.

NonameFIT (www.nonamefit.com) is a locally owned gym in Houston that specializes in personal training, boot camps, triathlon training, group studio classes, and nutritional counseling. It is hosting the dog adoption event and fundraiser in celebration of its first anniversary.

Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Ward is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization funded 100 percent by volunteers, with all funds going directly to the continued support of abandoned and neglected dogs in Houston’s impoverished 5th Ward. The 5th Ward has a significant and growing population of stray dogs, many abandoned by their owners and left to roam and fend for themselves. The foundation helps place the animals in need in an adoptive home, foster home, or no-kill shelter that will offer them a second chance. Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Ward also helps residents of the area afford food, veterinary visits, and pet care.

Please join WebsiteAlive in supporting and donating to this worthy cause. Be a sponsor—or just attend the event and participate in the auctions and raffles. In addition, Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Ward is always looking for volunteers, foster families, and adoptive families for dogs in need. To find out more, please visit www.forgottendogs.org.
